In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010
and subsequently amended vide Notification dated 29th July 2011 had laid down the minimum qualification for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in classes I to
VIII. It had been inter-alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of Section
2 of the RTE Act is that he/she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the
NCTE.

Eligibility criteria: The following persons are eligible for appearing in the CTET
Minimum qualifications for classes I-V: Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 year diploma in elementary education (or its equivalent); or senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 year diploma in elementary education (or its equivalent), in accordance with the NCTE (recognition norms and procedure), regulations 2002; or senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4 year bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed); or senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 year diploma in education (special education)
Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at B.A./B.Sc/senior secondary level is admissible for SC/ST/differently abled candidates
For this year only, a candidate with B.A./B.Sc with at least 50% marks and B.Ed qualification shall also be eligible for test for classes I to V, provided he/she undergoes, after appointment, an NCTE recognized 6 month special program in elementary education
Minimum qualifications for classes VI-VIII: B.A./B.Sc and passed or appearing in final 2 year diploma in elementary education (or its equivalent); or B.A./B.Sc with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year bachelor in education (B.Ed); or B.A./B.Sc with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year bachelor in education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard; or senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4 year bachelor in elementary education (B.El.Ed); or senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4 year B.A./B.Sc-Ed or B.A. (Ed)/B.Sc. A diploma/degree course in teacher education recognized by the national council for teacher education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However, in case of diploma in education (special education) and B.Ed (special education), a course recognized by the rehabilitation council of India (RCI) only shall be considered
Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at B.A./B.Sc/senior secondary level is admissible for SC/ST and differently abled candidates
Pattern of examination: The CTET examination will be of objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs). There will be no negative marking
There will be 2 papers of CTET
Paper-I will be for a person who intend to be a teacher in classes I to V

Now the government's plan for conducting a common entrance test for al bank exams is to be materilized and Indian Bank's Association (IBA) has finalized this innovative and new method of banking Personnel selection. The changes are to take effect from June-2011.
This new mehtod will eliminate the complaining about the delay in knowing results of bank exams in the current banking recruitments. A few points about this new method of selection in Banks are as follows:-
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct this exam 2 times in a year. Once each for Clerks and Probationary Officers.
Each Candidate will be given a scorecard Which will be valid for One year.
Participating Public sector banks That will look to recruit for above posts will invite applications from candidates having valid scorecards with all the Eligibility conditions like age, education, Percentage explicitly mentioned. The call letter for this exam can now be downloaded from IBPS site by This Link. Candidate needs to provide the Registration Number and Date of Birth/Password to download the call letter. The call letter is necessary for appearing in the written exam. The call letter should be carried in the exam along with the Original Fee Payment Receipt (e-receipt/ fee payment challan/ NEFT payment Receipt) and a photo identity proof (Original and a photocopy).

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Selection will be on the basis of Written Test and/or Group Discussions, Interview depending on the number of applications received for each post. Merely satisfying the eligibility norm does not entitle a candidate to be called for Written Test / GD / Personality Test / Interview. The Bank reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for the GD / Interview after preliminary screening / short-listing with reference to candidates qualifications, suitability, experience, etc.

GROUP DISCUSSIONS/PERSONALITY TEST/INTERVIEW

Job Description:

CPRI is looking for exceptionally bright candidate to the following posts to assist the technical staff of Civil Engineering Division in executing the projects to house various advanced testing facilities in CPRI, Bangalore.

DIPLOMA ENGINEERING ASSOCIATE – Three posts (Civil)

Qualification : First Class Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Institution.

Desirable : Post qualification site experience of two years in structural work/high Rise building. Conversant with CPWD norms.

Upper age : 28 years

Remuneration : Rs.12,000/- per month plus 30% HRA

For these posts, computer knowledge in windows and MS Office, CAD
is preferred.

all marks sheets/certificates/testimonials to the Chief Administrative Officer,CPRI as per the format on or before 23.11.2011. Reservation for SC/ST/PWD and OBC candidates will be made as per Govt. of India norms. The application should be sent in a cover superscribing : ‘Application for the post of -------‘(Name of the post to be indicated), failing which the application is liable to be rejected.

The upper age limit for the above posts as on 23.11.2011 is 30 years for the post Graduate Engineering Associate and 28 years for the post of Diploma Engineering Associate for General category and the age is relaxable by 3 years in case of OBC candidates and 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category. The upper age is further relaxable by 5 years in case of candidates belonging to PWD category.

Candidates called for Interview shall appear for the same at their own
cost. The candidates selected for the posts should produced ‘Police
verification Certificate’ at the time of joining.
